This dataset is derived from the following three sources:

Nested Watersheds of Mexico (Field: Size 2):

USGS HUC8 Watershed Boundaries:
http://nhd.usgs.gov/wbd.html

WSC sub-sub drainage areas of Canada:
http://geogratis.gc.ca/api/en/nrcan-rncan/ess-sst/30b33615-6dda-51a5-a9dd-308802714a28.html

The primary purpose of this shapefile is for use in the Adaptwest Watershed Data Explorer <http://adaptwest.databasin.org/app/watershed-climate-explorer>. Therefore, after merging the 3 shapefiles listed above, the resulting shapefile was modified to remove small sliver features.
